Responsibilities:

  • To manage resourcing for all potential and assigned projects;
  • To work directly with Recruitment and HR Departments to facilitate appropriate staffing;
  • To ensure that project resourcing is managed in order to assure timely delivery;
  • To communicate to appropriate project managers the resourcing issues that may impact scheduled deadlines;
  • To act as point of contact for resource booking confirmation, conflict resolution, and development of solutions in support of business goals;
  • Run weekly resource meetings with PMs and recruiters; and facilitate resourcing issues with Production Team and appropriate department heads;
  • Work with Production Team members to identify appropriate resource requirements for each account and project; 
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects and business development activities as they relate to resourcing;
  • Monitor day to day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of underutilization and actively work with project managers to address and solve those issues;
  • To ensure that all new joiners, leavers and any changes are identified, and all resources are assigned to the correct team;
  • Recommend process improvements; 
  • Work to resolve any issues regarding under or over allocations of current staff members.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years in resource management, project management or team leadership experience in software development industry; 
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to influence people; 
  • Experience in requirement analysis, effort estimating, projects scheduling, risk and change management; 
  • Well understanding of different software methodologies - SCRUM, Agile, RUP, Waterfall; 
  • Assertive conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills; 
  • Ability to be diplomatic or firm when necessary in order to drive business forward or obtain results; 
  • Highly detail oriented and able to work autonomously; 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease; 
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workload across multiple groups;
  • The perfect-fit candidate should have HR\Recruiting\Resource Management background.
