Our client is German-based company, for asset & wealth managers to digitalize their business models by providing the required Platform as a Service. This includes applications for core processes as well as third-party connections. Aim to create the unique opportunity for our partners to go digital in one step and to utilize state-of-the-art analytics to create individualized solutions to the benefit of their clients.

We are part of the client's team. We starting a new team and a new page of our relation. Together we are working closely to drive further market innovations and help to stay the market leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Owning and being responsible for one of the major product areas within the client platform;
  • Working with stakeholders across the entire product lifecycle – driving the product roadmap;
  • Defining and communicating user and business problems, requirements, and collaborating with product operations to deliver the product to our end-users;
  • Conduct product demos to stakeholders and gather feedback to further improve the products;
  • Being an advocate for delivering a quality and reliable product, continuously identifying and prioritizing value opportunities for improvement;
  • Working in an agile environment, joining a squad of engineers – motivating and engaging them by communicating a vision for the product and delivering requirements that are clear and implementable; coach the team for the agile way of working.
Requirements:
  • Several years’ experience in finance or technology, with a strong willingness and aptitude to learn the other;
  • experience in a similar role (product owner, business analyst);
  • Communication is a core strength – written documents\requirements are clear and well structured;
  • Intellectually curious, you seek to understand the problem to find the best solution;
  • Great leadership and communication skills: asking questions, active listening, driving team alignment, and influencing without authority across all levels of the organization;
  • Ability to engage development teams and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship for achieving product and organization goals;
  • Advanced skills in managing stakeholder expectations;
  • Team player who is not afraid to take on a challenge;
  • Fluency in English.
Nice to have:
  • Knowledge about financial investment and markets or asset management is a plus;
  • German language is a plus.
